Our story

Hi, we’re Mei and Tony!

We moved to New Zealand from Taiwan in 1991, drawn by its beauty and the dream of giving our three kids a childhood filled with outdoor adventures and fun. For years, we made our home in Auckland, watching our kids grow up and eventually spread their wings to do amazing things of their own.

When the nest grew empty, we decided it was our turn to chase a dream—so we said goodbye to Auckland and hello to Waihi.

I (Mei) have always loved flowers, and lavender has been my favorite for as long as I can remember. Tony, forever my biggest cheerleader, wanted to make sure I was chasing my dreams, so we set out to build something special together. What began as just a few rows of lavender has blossomed into the farm you see today. Tony takes care of the farm operations, while I handcraft all of our lavender products with love and care. And if you’ve had the chance to stop by our café, you’ve tasted some of the dishes I’ve created, inspired by family recipes passed down through generations.

This farm is more than just a place—it’s our dream come true. We’re so happy to share it with you. Welcome to our little slice of lavender heaven. 🌿
